Elyjoy's love for hiking began a long time ago, exploring Kenya's diverse landscapes from the Aberdares to Mount Kenya. After years of organizing informal hikes with friends, she recognized the need for a more structured, professional hiking community that didn't sacrifice the warmth and banter of hiking with friends.
In 2026, Boots & Banters was born with a simple mission: to make hiking accessible, safe, and incredibly fun. Elyjoy brings her extensive trail experience, safety certifications, and natural leadership to every expedition, ensuring each hiker feels welcome and supported.
